Print Jobs
A designer’s process of creating printed graphics with branding and brand identity in mind begins with a deep understanding of the brand’s core values, mission, and target audience. This includes the brand’s visual language, logo, color palette, typography, and established design elements. This foundation ensures that all graphics align with the brand’s tone and visual style, maintaining consistency. I need to work to conceptualize the design ideas, considering layout, hierarchy, and readability to ensure the graphics communicate the intended printed message and testing how the graphics will appear in print, paying attention to color accuracy, paper quality, and the final production method to ensure a seamless transition from digital to physical. Ultimately, the goal is to create printed materials that stand out visually, reinforce the brand’s identity, and resonate with the audience.
From 90-page new hire guides, one-page informational sheets, and flyers to invitations, manuals, and user guides…and don’t even get me started on all the promotional items. CMYK, spot color, special coatings, and finishes…I’ve designed almost every brief you can imagine. These are a few of my favorite personal print projects in recent years.
